Newspaper dress6 March 2008
A special dress designed by Aisling Owens, winner of the 2007 Young Designer competition was commissioned to mark the involvement of print sponsor Irish Independent Day & Night supplement in providing advertising support for the 2008 show.
The dress was worn by vetinerary student Jane Alexander on stage during the award presentations and was a fantastic piece which incorporated a huge amount of work all made ourt of copies of the Day & Night supplement.
Thanks to Aisling for another stunning creation and for delaying her move to London to take it on!
This dress is so amazing. The only thing I would change is the way the sleeves are designed. Every thing else is fabulous. Great Design!

That dress is amazing! I saw it on the night and it was so well made and looked so well on too! I think it should be put on show somewhere.
